One dashboard

Everything you'd stitch together from five tools

Traffic, conversions, revenue and replays share the same filters, so one click on a source or page narrows down everything at once.

Real-time dashboard

Unique visitors, visits, pageviews, views per visit, bounce rate and visit duration, plus who's online right now.

Pages

Top, entry and exit pages, with engagement time and scroll depth tracked automatically.

Stripe revenue

Connect a restricted, read-only Stripe key. Trace registers the webhook itself, so there's nothing to paste into Stripe.

Goals

Track pageview and custom-event goals, with conversion rates and drill-downs for each.

Funnels

Build step-by-step funnels and see conversion and drop-off at every step.

Replays

Play back real visits to see where people get stuck, next to the events they triggered.

Goal alerts

Get an email the moment a goal is triggered.

Import history

Import daily stats from Google Analytics 4 or a Plausible CSV export. Days that overlap live tracking are skipped.

Revenue attribution

Stop guessing which channel pays the bills

Connect Stripe with a read-only key and Trace credits every payment to the channel that first brought that customer in, so you can compare search, social, email and referrals by what they earn, not just by visits.

  • Read-only Stripe key, webhook registered for you
  • Revenue and conversions per channel on the main dashboard
  • Unattributed revenue is shown, never silently dropped

Session replay

Watch the visit behind the number

When a funnel step leaks, play back the sessions behind it. Replays show what visitors saw and clicked, with masking so names, emails and anything else you choose never leave the browser.

  • Mask all text or chosen elements
  • Block sensitive areas entirely
  • Sample a share of visits

Questions, answered

How does the free trial work?
Every new workspace gets 20 days of the Business plan, so you can try everything including revenue attribution, replay and the API. You don't need a card to start, and you choose a plan when the trial ends.
What counts as an event?
Every request the tracking script sends counts: pageviews, custom events, and the background engagement pings that measure time on page and scroll depth. Events from all the sites in a workspace add up to one monthly total.
Will the script slow my site down?
The script loads with defer, so it never blocks your page from rendering, and it is about 14 KB gzipped. It sends small requests in the background and adds no third-party cookies.
Do I need a cookie banner?
By default Trace sets one first-party cookie to recognise returning visitors, and it never sets third-party cookies or tracks people across sites. Privacy mode counts visitors with a daily-rotating, salted hash on the server instead. Whether you need consent depends on where you and your visitors are, so check with your own legal adviser.
Can I bring my Google Analytics history?
Yes. Import daily stats from Google Analytics 4 or a Plausible CSV export, and your dashboard covers the time before you installed Trace. Days that overlap with live tracking are skipped, so nothing is counted twice.
What about ad blockers?
Turn on the managed proxy to serve the script from a subdomain of your own site, such as analytics.example.com, so it isn't blocked as a third-party tracker.
